We have been in business for almost 15 years in Beverly Hills and have built a reputation for having a high quality collection for almost any taste or budget.What Pdx has moved to the Pacific Northwest in search of a slower pace and greener living. HGTV fans will recognize WHAT'S owner Terry Dooley from his appearances on the hit show Designer's Challenge. One of L.A.'s most sought-after interior designers, Terry draws upon his past experiences handling fine arts, antiquities and antiques, as well as his extensive travels in Asia, to create timeless, natural rooms. A native of Los Angeles, Terry found his calling early, inspired by his grandparents, who were in the interior design and import business of European art and accessories. At 15, he served an apprenticeship with a fine-arts antique dealer, which instilled in him a love for 18th and 19th century French European styles. He's built art collections for various international corporations, (dealing original works by Chagall, Picasso and Monet) and designed window displays for top fashion boutiques, including Armani, Ferre, Ferragamo and Zenya. Following a five- year stay in Japan, where he studied Asian Arts and Styles, Terry returned to the States to focus on design and retail home furnishings and opened a design showroom in Newport Beach, California. He eventually relocated to West Hollywod, where he's worked with various movie studios, record companies and celebrities on projects big and small.
